As a Principal Software Engineer on our team,you'll play a key role in supporting our digital transformationjourney by leading a team of developers to build and implementlarge-scale applications involving APIs and UIs that will beleveraged across the business.

You'll be bothhands-on and strategic, diving deep into code to define systembehavior, and establishing technical roadmaps that you and thedevelopers on your team will act upon to deliver quality andscalable software solutions.

You will also havethe opportunity to directly engage with senior leadership as youcommunicate back and forth with the business to ensure thesesoftware solutions align with business objectives.

  • 8+ years of hands-on, full-stack developmentexperience building end-to-end software applications utilizing theMicrosoft technology stack: C#, .Net Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET,MVC, Web API, XML, XSLT, Entity Framework, LINQ, Microservices,Single Page Applications in Angular, TFS, GIT, andAppDynamics
  • Insurance background required;experience in implementing Commercial Lines platform/systemsintegration with Duck Creek, Insurity or similar policy adminsystems is preferred
  • Deep understanding of SQLServer and Cosmos DB, including database design models, databaseperformance optimization and the ability to develop and maintainPL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Functions in SQLServer
  • Demonstrated experience developing RESTbased APIs using Microservice architecture, Open API Specificationand/or creating specificationsw/Swagger
  • Knowledge of messaging queue toolssuch as MQ and Kafka
  • Experience incontainerizing applications using Docker &Kubernetes
  • Previous experience with cloudsolutions (Azure preferred) along with experience configuringDevOps/continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)pipelines using tools such as Git, Jenkins and/orMaven
