What does a great Scrum Assistant do?

You'd be helping the Scrum Master, which is an agile role responsible for coaching agile teams at the Team level on an Agile Release Train (ART), on agile practices and demonstrating servant leadership.

The Scrum Master drives a Lean-Agile mindset enabling the team to break down assigned features into stories to achieve effective delivery of high-quality products and services in predictable increments at increased velocity.

What kind of work will you be doing?

• Assist selforganizing, selfmanaging teams achieve goals by teaching and coaching team practices, implementing and supporting Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles and practices, identifying, and eliminating impediments, and facilitating flow
• Facilitate a team's progress towards their goals and commitments for each ART iteration and the full Program Increment
• Foster relentless improvement amongst the teams in new and innovative ways
• Help the team focus on daily and Iteration Goals in the context of current Program Increment (PI) Objectives
• Help the team focus, improve, and take responsibility for their actions; facilitates the team retrospective. Helps the team become better problem solvers for themselves

Who would do well in this role?

• Either currently studying or recently Graduated
• Knowledge of the Scaled Agile framework, Scrum and Lean-Agile methodologies
• Adept at communicating effectively
• Effective communication amongst team members and across teams
• Good influence, coaching, conflict resolution and facilitation skills
