Cuál será tu misión?


Como
Data Engineer trabajarás en estrecha colaboración con el equipo de Data Integration para crear pipelines de datos de alta calidad que impulsen soluciones analíticas usando tecnologías actuales de big data.


Trabajarás diseñando, manteniendo y optimizando sistemas de multi-procesamiento paralelo, así como implementando las mejores prácticas de almacenamiento y gestión de datos en plataformas como data lakes o data warehouses.

Tendrás que ser un apasionado recolectando, procesando, limpiando y orquestando grandes volúmenes de datos; para lograrlo te ayudará entender modelos de datos estructurados, semi-estructurados y saber integrar y transformar múltiples fuentes de datos usando distintas tecnologías.


Definirás la arquitectura de datos para nuestros clientes dependiendo de las necesidades del proyecto, entendiendo los objetivos de negocio y los requerimientos técnicos que harán que puedas convertir problemas complejos en soluciones alcanzables.

Todo ello ayudará a los clientes en la toma de decisiones basadas en datos ;)

¿Que harás?
Diseñarás, desarrollarás, mantendrás y optimizarás arquitecturas de almacenamiento de datos como Data Warehouses, Data Lakes y Lakehouses, así como pipelines de orquestación de datos end-to-end

Integrarás distintas fuentes de datos resolviendo problemáticas asociadas a su estructura, tipo de datos, volumen, velocidad y variedad

Te involucrarás en nuevos paradigmas de almacenamiento y procesamiento de datos usando el tradicional ETL pero también implementando estrategias optimizadas para big data como ELT

Afrontarás problemas complejos que impliquen soluciones de integración de datos y los convertirás en un valor tangible que ayudará a la empresa a la consecución de objetivos

Emplearás nuevas tecnologías asociadas al manejo de big data que te permitan estar a la vanguardia en tu desarrollo profesional

Fomentarás una cultura de intercambio, reutilización, diseño y eficiencia operativa de datos y soluciones analíticas



¿Qué camino te espera?
**Como Data Engineer será necesario poner en práctica todas tus habilidades de comunicación, presentación, entendimiento de reglas de negocio y solución de problemáticas asociadas a datos a través de la integración de distintas tecnologías. Nuestros clientes esperan que identifiquemos sus necesidades y requerimientos y con base en ello proponer escenarios óptimos de implementación de servicios en la nube que les permitan construir arquitecturas modernas de datos.

Te espera un largo camino de aprendizaje de nuevas tecnologías.

Actualmente en la división trabajamos con 4 principalmente en nuestro path de capacitación: Azure, Snowflake, Databricks y QDI. Nuestro objetivo es construir un equipo multidisciplinario con especialistas en alguna o varias de estas tecnologías.

Sin embargo, para agilizar tu curva de aprendizaje hacia este perfil y poder iniciar este reto en Derevo, será necesario contar con un par de requerimientos:



¿Qué pedimos?
**Valoramos mucho que seas capaz de comunicarte y escribir en inglés, siempre es importante mantenerte estudiando para mejorar el idioma

Contar con conocimiento del lenguaje SQL enfocado a DDL, DML, procedimientos almacenados, consultas y análisis de datos a través de herramientas como SQL Server Management Studio o DBeaver

Entendimiento de conceptos como sistemas OLTP y modelos Entidad-Relación, sistemas OLAP y modelos de estrella o copo de nieve

Procesamiento y transformación de datos en batch

Tipos de datos estructurados, semi-estructurados, no-estructurados
