We are searching for the best talent for SENIOR CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN (TERCER TURNO) to be in Juárez City.

Purpose:


Performs calibration to basicdimensional equipment, as well as with pressure measuring instruments, temperature, scales, timers and tachometers with a moderate degree of difficulty.

Fills calibration service reports and enters the obtained information in the system. The activities of this position require de direct supervision of the Senior Calibration Technician.

This position will have responsibilities across ETHICON and Cardiovascular and Specialty Solution (CSS) Companies Johnson and Johnson Family of Companies) including a span of multiple product platforms such as General Surgical Devices, Sutures, ENT, Infection Prevention, Electrophysiology and Surgical and Non-Surgical Aesthetics

You will be responsible for:

Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

Techniques:

  • Performs calibrations to dimensional equipment using equipment such as optical comparator, vision system and/or pattern blocks.


Performs calibration to equipment which indicates pressure and temperature with a moderate degree of difficulty and by using the Standards, thermocouples and connectors indicated by the Senior Calibration Technician.


  • Calibrates scales, timers and tachometers by using the standards indicated by the Senior Calibration Technician.

Documentation:

  • Records the readings obtained in the measuring on the calibration certificates.
  • Follows the calibration procedures to perform his/her tasks.
  • Enters the information of the calibration certificates in the system (PILGRIM).
  • Labels and identifies the equipment in which he/she performs calibration.
  • Follows the Good Manufacturing Practices procedures (GMPs).
  • Applies the regulations stated by the metrology international standards such as ISO 17025, Guide 25, ANSI and others.

Organization:

  • Maintains his/her place of work clean and organized.
  • Can provide technical assistance and guidance to lower level technicians.
  • Provides support and follows instructions from the Calibration Senior and Principal Technicians.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Technical studies: Electromechanical Technician or Instrumentalist Technician.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with measuring equipment such as optical comparator, vision systems, micrometers, verniers, pattern blocks, pressure and temperature standards, speed, time and dead weight, voltage generator, current and frequency.
  • Knowledge of Mechanics and Electricity.
  • Basic knowledge of Metrology International Regulations.
  • Reading and interpretation of mechanical and electrical blueprints.
  • Ability to read and understand English, at least 50%.

ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires to work in an office environment and/or in a Controlled Manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR OTHERS (If applicable)

  • This position may report to Maintenance Engineer and/or Maintenance and Calibration Engineer.

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • This position will be performed in a clean room production controlled environment and/or office areas.
  • Must be capable of standing for moderate periods of time and sit on front of desk to use computer and/or ipads.
  • Regular use of clean room tools, as well as office tools, necessary to perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.
