Job Location(s): Reynosa, MX- Danfoss Mexico is looking for an experienced Cost Out Manager for our Plant in Reynosa, Mexico.

This role will be responsible for managing Cost Out Projectg activities to improve the overall cost positition of FACTS BU process and products.

The role will do this through participation in design for manufacturability reviews for new product development, manage key value stream projects to drive more efficient value streams, work with engineering to introduce new materials and design changes to drive more effective materials and process for our existing product in production.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project activities to assure continue follow up to detailed project plan to know who must do what by when.
  • Follow up with stakeholders constantly/persistently on getting the actions completed (including stakeholders outside the plant).
  • Lead Cost Out sessions to have a strong project funnel for FACTS BU and assure correct tracking of savings with Fianance approval.
  • Run design for manufacturability reviews on new product developments and existing serial production product to make sure design is optimized for production
  • Identify need for investments and give input to stakeholders
  • Track Capital Budget for BU and ensure ontime execution to plan and timely spending of Capital budget focused on Cost Out Projects.
  • Ensure Investments are driving the Key Indicatiors improvements tied to the business case developed.
  • Identify Opportunities to improve/eliminate materials and processes to improve our overall quality and cost position on the market.
  • Handling deviation and secure quality protocols and specifications
  • Secure safety, Support and secure that the production foundation are according to all safety and enviromental standards
  • Build a strong culture in FACTS Connectors around Value Added / Value Engineering to make sure that design is thinking about cost and environmental impacts of their design and first stages of design rollout.
  • Support and build network across the business unit.

Background & Skills:

  • Bachelor degree (Manufacturing Technology engineer Prefered)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience
