Gear Machining Intern

Job Description:

Collaborating on innovation challenges, interacting with Industry leaders, attending cross-functional networking events and volunteering for community service activities.

Responsible for:

You will be working on a daily basis with a senior level engineer to launch our newest gear machining area here at GM Ramos.

The work will involve installing new equipment and qualifying it in preparation for start of production.

The goal is to provide a meaningful experience to further your development as a student while also providing value to GM.

The project will be in a manufacturing environment with a fast pace of work. The future of General Motors is in Electrification and at GM Ramos we are at the front of it.

Requirements:

You must be an active student with a graduation date in Summer of 2025 or later.

Advanced level English

Knowledge in office (excel, PowerPoint)

Current insurance provided by your school

Working towards a degree in:
Industrial, Electro-mechanical, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering
