Production Manager at our Industrial Sewing Facility

Our dynamic industrial sewing facility is on the lookout for a skilled Production Manager who not only excels in overseeing operations but also possesses strong leadership qualities to inspire and drive excellence within the team.

This unique opportunity allows you to implement your managerial skills and industry knowledge, contributing to the maintenance of high standards in product quality and efficiency.

You will be joining a global company with 50 years of experience in creating outstanding value to our customers, beyond what any traditional or conventional ventilation solution has ever done.

Your Role and Impact As the Production Manager of our industrial sewing facility in Silao, Guanajuato Mexico, you will be at the forefront of managing our production lines, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

With a focus on lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement, you will lead our talented team of sewing professionals in achieving operational excellence.

In your role as Production Manager, you will report directly to the COO in Denmark.

You will have a daily impact in our ability to produce just in time, with the highest quality and foster a motivated team.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and following up on all orders to ensure they are prepared, cut, sewn, packed, and shipped correctly according to FabricAir Quality Standards and delivery demands.
  • Securing Production Capacity and Flexibility between all production departments and continually optimizing production and production costs.
  • Ensuring that we have access to resources and optimizing their usage for cost-effectiveness.
  • Implementing and supporting the strategy.
  • Seeking Operational Excellence and working daily for continuous improvement.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in Mexican law regarding employment, labor law, work safety, and the environment, including external factors like ISO 14001, and ensuring that FabricAir complies with the law and is prepared for future changes.
  • Analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity.
  • Conducting workforce planning, development, and headcount control.

Who You Are We are seeking an individual with a strong leadership background in the textile or apparel manufacturing industry, coupled with a proven track record of enhancing production processes and team performance.

Your strategic planning skills and ability to adapt to evolving industry trends will be key to our facility's success.

Your profile:

University degree:
Bachelor's degree in Sewing Technology or a related field (e.g., engineering).

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Production Manager, preferably in an industrial sewing or textile manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of sewing production processes and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are preferred.
