In order to make this effective as an Alfa Laval Supplier Developer You will work regionally to monitor supplier performance perform quality inspections and supplier audits to supplier sites and Alfa Laval products.


As an Alfa Laval supplier developer you must be able to read and interpret prints and drawings, you must have experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes and specifications, Also you are required find and drive cost efficient initiatives.


You should be able to become Alfa Laval supplier Auditor BP and SC, It is essential to keep very active communication between our factories and local suppliers and be able to identify any possible deviation at Alfa Laval suppliers and act accordingly to minimize affectations.

Your dutties

  • Closely monitor the supplier performance together with Operational Buyer
  • Drive containment actions
  • Report any deviations regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost to supplier
  • Secure escalation according to the PIM process
  • Analyse supplier performance according to the Follow Up Process
  • Work with supply development tools
  • Initiate and drive corrective actions regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost
You are

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Must have experience on Metal mechanical industries
  • 8 years' experience in purchasing and Supplier development.
  • Fully independent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Structured
  • English 90%.
  • Open to travel frequently
