Laboratory Analyst

Laboratory analyst in charge of performing different tests to support Operations, Innovation activities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Testing for Chemical (XRD), mineralogical (XRF) analysis, Alkalis, Fluoride, free lime, ARE Chemical)
• Physical Testing (compressive strengths, setting times, flow, water demand, ARE Cement)
• Samples preparation (drying, crushing, grinding, sampling, homogenizing).
• Standards preparation (Raw Mix, Clinker & Cement)
• Burnabilities for Raw Mix (XRD, XRF, materials recalculation, mixing, crosscheck)
• Materials verification (Raw Mix, Clinker, Cement)
• Samples warehouse management
• Chemical reagents procurement
• Concrete testing
• Laboratory Housekeeping

Position Challenges:

• Delivery of analysis on schedule
• Proficiency in cements techniques.

Qualifications:

• Chemical Engineer
• Laboratory analysis previous experience
• Office (excel, ppt, word management).
• English (desired)

Internal/External Relations:

• Cement plants
• Researchers team
• Reagent's vendors
