PURPOSE:

Responsable de identificar, desarrollar e implementar proveedores para los productos y servicios asignados.

Así mismo, responsable por la identificación y evaluación de estrategias de compra que presenten beneficios para la compañía en precio, calidad y entrega.

Desempeña todas las actividades de compra en cumplimiento con las regulaciones correspondientes.

RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Bajo supervisión limitada y de acuerdo con las leyes/regulaciones federales, estatales y locales y los procedimientos y lineamientos Corporativas de Johnson & Johnson, esta posición:
  • Liderea una categoría o subcategoría de gasto asignada dentro del negocio.
  • Analiza el gasto de la categoría asignada, los proveedores y su segmentación, para mejorar la cadena de suministros e influenciar la base de proveedores.
  • Recomienda métodos de estandarización de productos y servicios para generar economías de escala.
  • Monitorea y compara la información de industria, precio y mejores prácticas para la categoría asignada.
  • Mantiene comunicación efectiva y gestiona la relación con proveedores clave utilizando las herramientas de SRM (Supplier Relationship Management).
  • Desarrolla las capacidades de los proveedores buscando mejoras en precio, calidad y entrega.
  • Monitorea el desempeño de los proveedores en base a indicadores clave definidos (KPI's) y a sus iniciativas de mejora continua e innovación.
  • Monitorea, mantiene y apoya los medibles y controles del área de Compras.
  • Participa en los procesos de generación y aprobación de órdenes de compra a proveedores.
  • Dirige los procesos de licitación para la categoría asignada, en base a los procedimientos y políticas establecidos.
  • Dirige las negociaciones con proveedores y la firma e implementación de contratos.
  • Resuelve problemas y provee soluciones a los diferentes grupos dentro del negocio, así mismo identifica riesgos y aprovecha oportunidades.
  • Desarrolla e implementa iniciativas de ahorro y proyectos de mejora continua. Participa en auditorías internas y externas.
  • Mantiene la base de datos y archivo para toda la información relacionada con sus proveedores, la categoría asignada y el negocio.
  • Es responsable de comunicar asuntos relacionados al negocio u oportunidades al siguiente nível gerencial.
  • Para aquellos que supervisan o administran personal, son responsables de asegurar que los subordinados sigan todos los lineamientos de la Compañía relacionadas con las prácticas de Salud, Seguridad y Medio Ambiente y que todos los recursos necesarios para hacerlo estén disponibles y en buenas condiciones, si aplica.
  • Es responsable de asegurar el cumplimiento personal y de la Compañía con todas las regulaciones, políticas y procedimientos Federales, Estatales y Locales de la compañía
  • Realiza otras tareas asignadas según sea necesario.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

Carrera profesional en Administración de Empresas, Contador Público, Ingeniero Industrial, Ingeniero en Sistemas.
Deseable Certificación CPSM.

EXPERIENCE:
