What is the opportunity?


The Service Excellence teamwork across Solutions Delivery & Service to give the Platform and Solutions teams the capability and processes to consistently deliver excellent service in their areas and measurably improve the IT experience received by our customers.

The Service Excellence Analyst is responsible for initiating and driving a wide array of activities that need to be implemented and adopted as part of this work both within SD&S and across other Enabling Units IT teams.


The role reports into the Service Excellence Manager and will work closely across multiple global teams of business collaborators, developers, partners, offshore service teams and vendors to successfully find opportunities for continuous improvement, simplification and embedding service excellence into the Solutions Delivery & Service group.

This is an exciting opportunity to evolve and shape the service experience across a critical business area.

Key objectives and accountabilities

  • Track and report on the value delivered by each Service Excellence transformation delivery initiative.
  • Use data, trends, and service information to define further improvement activities.
  • Acting as a goto expert for Service standard methodology and improvements
  • Assisting in the design and production of consistent reporting of IT metrics within SD&S and Service reporting to associated Business leadership.
  • Build effective relationships across AZ Technology teams to continuously improve ways of working.

Essential

  • 13 Years of IT Experience
  • Experience and exposure to key ITSM areas
  • Incident, Request, Problem and Change.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Strong influencing skills
  • ITIL v3 Foundation as minimum.

Desirable

  • Experience of delivery within a matrix management structure.
  • Experience in management of vendors and suppliers.
  • Experience working in the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry IT environment.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language.
