ROLE SUMMARY:

  • With more than 1,800 students, The American Institute of Monterrey (AIM), an Inspired school, currently has 3 campuses in Monterrey's metropolitan area: 2 campuses in San Pedro and 1 campus in Santa Catarina.
  • Valle Oriente Campus provides full services from Prenursery through 9th grade.
  • San Pedro Campus provides services from Prenursery through 5th grade.
  • AIM Preparatory School offers 6th through 12th grades.

This Authentic Products and Services are developed during students' specialized Academy classes in Engineering and Technology, Laboratory and Research, Business and Management as well as Arts and Humanities.

The key purpose of this position is to support in driving enrollment success, from initial point of enquiry from parents until the student enrolls in the school.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide high level customer service with prospective parents, agents, students, feeder schools and AIM ́s wider network.
  • Assist the Head of Admissions in planning, organizing and delivering successful admissions events
  • Manage the Admissions Department diary and organize visits of prospective parents, students and agents.
  • Liaise with members of academic to organize meetings with prospective parents as required.
  • Accompany visitors to specific areas of AIM to ensure the smooth running of visits and give tours of the school and or boarding houses when requested.
  • Ensure prospective parents, students and feeder schools are informed of entry and interview dates in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain spreadsheets regarding place and scholarship offers at all points of entry, draft offer letters for the Head of School as directed by the Head of Admissions.
  • Assist the Head of Admissions and the Senior Leadership Team to implement best practice processes to increase retention this will include participation in open days, transition events and feeder school events.
  • Maintain accurate agent commission records for students enrolled.
  • Collate New Students Welcome Pack materials and mailing and liaise with the Communications Manager/ Group Marketing Department to ensure relevant material is on the website in a timely manner.
  • Ensure every student joining AIM at any time has the appropriate welcome and joining information and liaise with academic and house staff as relevant.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Sales management experience within professional services setting. (BA or MBA)
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and crosscontinent teams.
  • Good literacy skills to prepare correspondence and maintain records to a high standard.
  • Experience working with the education sector is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately with excellent attention to details in order to meet deadlines.
  • Absolute discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
