Job Description:

The Logistics Finance Business Partner is responsible for be a copilot for Logistics team, being the first point of contact in the decision-making process; analyze and manage costs (period end close activities, forecasting) to generate the correct guidelines to a cost optimization; investment project evaluations and translate strategy into a 3-5 year value creation plan, linked to a 1 year execution plan.

What are we looking for? Demonstrate basic knowledge of the relevant topics, strategy and value creation goals of the business, and needs of his/her business partners.

Reactively solve business partners' needs within his/her scope of responsibility with sense of urgency, generates mutual benefit solutions and alternatives while avoiding over commitment.

Ensure business partner satisfaction and the successful execution of solutions to build trust regardless of whether the solution is the best available option from the value creation standpoint.

Detect collaboration opportunities and builds solution that contribute to value creation goals.
Formulate financially oriented action plans that might not necessarily respond to all the business partner's needs.
Prepare and provide accurate and timely financial data & analysis to facilitate management discussions and decisions.

Demonstrate an understanding and use financial data to evaluate your units' financial position, use of cashflows and its credit worthiness.

Demonstrate awareness of the basics of the EP&I tool and value creation concepts.
Provide insights to create & drive value to the business.

Demonstrate a basic understanding of principles and techniques to analyze and manage costs (value leadership, transfer prices and COGS, YTD/YTG performance, running rates concept, leading/lagging indicators, value/volume effects).Demonstrate a basic understanding of principles and techniques to budget and forecast costs (ZBB, bottom up/top down, soft/hard savings, target savings, scenario planning, risks & opportunities concept, make it happen).Demonstrate a basic understanding of key decision-making tools and forums to participate effectively.

What will be your key responsibilities? Business partner / copilot for Logistics team, being the first point of contact in the decision-making process.

Analyze and manage costs (period end close activities, forecasting) to generate the correct guidelines to a cost optimization.
Inventory tracking, share visibility of days of inventory and challenge optimal inventory levels to meet cash targets.
Translate strategy into a 3-5 year value creation plan, linked to a 1 year execution plan.
Creation and evaluation of logistics scenarios in innovation projects.
Monitor and approve projects related to logistical efficiencies to meet the VL target.
