Responsibilities:

Firewall Associate Jr Manger

Main Purpose

Firewall Specialist is responsible for the ongoing operations of network security components such as Palo alto firewall and management tool (Panorama), he/she will act as a Single point of contact for the technical tower in front of the customer management.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities**- _
Develop and maintain a three - five year plan for the PA firewall operating model plan and Optimization of team_
- _ Provide Firewall Rules optimization and capacity planning of the firewalls for business needs_
- _ Monitoring High Availability of the Palo Alto Firewalls_
- _ Support operations direction and design issues as well as influence peers, cross-functional partners,_
- _ Effectively presenting facts and recommendations in oral and written form_
- _ Plan / review and implement all PA firewall changes_

Qualifications:

Qualifications / Requirements
- _
Relevant experience in network security managing next-generation firewalls, proxy systems, DNS and DHCP systems._
- _ Experience in Palo Alto firewall systems management would be mandatory. Experience should be on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of firewall systems (notably PaloAlto)._
- _ Knowledge of high-availability (HA) configurations and Panorama (Palo Alto) management tool._
- _ Must have experience in supporting Firewall UTM features, IDS/IPS_
- _ Experience in firewall administration, Network and Information Security, network administration._
- _ Experience in managing and coordinating network and firewall changes (rules, logs etc)._
- _ Requires in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and communication protocols. Knowledge of IPSec, GRE tunnels, multi casting and traffic balancing techniques essential._
- _ Hands-on experience with all phases of firewall and network operations, firewall change requests, firewall configuration, network services, and network security_
- _ Must possess the ability to learn multiple areas of a new technology and rapidly growing current technical and advisory knowledge_
- _ Knowledge of network routing (BGP, EIGRP) and switching protocols, multicast and QoS protocols, Cisco hardware routers and switches, hands on experience with Cisco Nexus switches is a plus._
- _ Excellent English oral and written communication skills including ability to interact optimally with executives, vendors and department staff._
- _ Experience in tracking project outcomes realization and customer happiness levels through established metrics against service level.
