In this role, you will develop ETL/data transformation jobs using PySpark and IBM DataStage in the AWS environment. Additionally, you will provide technical support and communicate outcomes effectively with internal stakeholders. Collaboration with various customers and technical engineers is essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new ETL/data transformation jobs using PySpark and IBM DataStage in an AWS environment.
- Enhance and support existing ETL/data transformation jobs.
- Explain technical solutions to internal stakeholders and provide feedback to the ETL team.
- Conduct technical code reviews and integration testing before production migrations.
- Offer high-level technical support and perform root cause analysis for issues within your functional area.
- Document technical specifications based on business requirements.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of ETL experience.
- Core Python programming skills for data transformation.
- Intermediate-level PySpark proficiency.
- Strong SQL fundamentals knowledge.
- Experience with IBM DataStage is preferred.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting ETL jobs and addressing production issues.
- Ability to develop optimization strategies for ETL processes.
- Basic AWS technical support skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or in teams.
- Skills in analyzing business requirements and defining technical specifications.
- Understanding of data dependencies and job scheduling.
- Experience working in UNIX environments and shell scripting.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
5+ years of ETL and SQL experience.
3+ years of Python, PySpark, AWS, and UNIX experience.
2+ years of IBM DataStage experience; certifications in AWS, Python, and PySpark are preferred.
