Purchasing Analyst

Interfaces with other departments to ensure necessary documents/data are in place to help assist mangers and buyers meet required actions.


Job Functions

  • Defines, coordinates, updates and reports the status of the training process on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis for Nissan Purchasing Team, prepared for the department or upper management.
  • Coordinates activities for the section to ensure deadlines are met and that replies are given when due, such as skills matrix, mandatory trainings, financial statements, etc.
  • Provides supplier contacts update for NMEX, NEdM and NRFM.


 G-FASE
  • Financial request of strategic suppliers for NMEX and joint collaboration with the Finance Team.
  • General Internal Communication for NMEX/NEdM/NNA Purchasing. External communication with the supplier base is also requested.
  • Control and maintenance of the Purchasing Layout for NMEX and NEdM.
  • Meeting room reservation for NMEX and NEdM.
  • Customized reports for NMEX and NEdM like historic volumes, commercial contacts, supplier base addresses, Tax ID, incoterms, payment terms, etc.
  • Supports department (US and Mexico) in other activities areas as needed, Sr. Manager, Managers and buyers.
  • As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Industrial Engineer, Quality Engineer, a related major, or equivalent job training.

Experience:

1-2 years of related experience at a professional level through internship, co-op or full-time employment.

Required knowledge:

Knowledgeable of purchasing process, training process, supplier financial evaluation, supplier management, purchasing communication, purchasing layout, SharePoint management.

Language:

English (Proficient)
