Attendance to all construction or assembly events at client's facilities.

  • Present and explain of new pedigree parts with actions performed to improved parts, even for mockups.
  • Validation of correct assembly of Forvia's parts, guaranteeing the successful of the event.
  • Detailed report for each event, on quality, function or assembly issues found.
  • Meeting minutes report for each event.
  • As resident engineer is not allowed to make agreements or commitments with client before talking and agreeing them with PDL.
  • Participation of internal meetings to coordinate upcoming events, to clarify goals and next steps to be presented to client. (Resident Engineer must be the voice of Forvia inside client's plant)
  • Nothing can be shared with client that was not previous agreed with PDL and core team.
  • Must guarantee to have by written meeting minutes to be align.
  • Direct participation at problems solving like 8D, 5 why's and other ones with core team.
  • Must be the client perspective on solving the issues.
  • Data collection at client's plant to have a clear perspective of problems and root causes.
  • GD&T / CAD Data understanding of the product, to guarantee good performance of the product.
  • Resident must guarantee to understand geometry characteristics.
  • RPS understanding.
  • GD&T.
  • Gap and flush.
  • Participation at Top 5 meetings lead by PDL.
  • Daily report to PDL & core team.
  • Scrap issues at client plant.
  • Pareto reports for the problems.
  • Claims from costumer at construction of preseries or series construction.
  • Report of reworked parts.
  • Rework of product at client facilities if needed
  • Must guarantee in front of new problems to rework products, prior alignment with PDL and core team.
  • Analyze and communicate of tools and materials needed for rework.
  • Create work instructions for reworks needed.
  • Guarantee the reception, movement and presentation of new pedigree parts or mockups.
  • Coordination with client of possible presentation of new parts, according of availability from core team at production Forvia's factories.
  • This list could not content all task needed, if something special need comes from PDL or core team, will must cover meanwhile the task is performed within client facility.
