Job Summary


To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Failure Analysis Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.


Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager the Failure Analysis Engineer role involvesResponsible for Implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment.


What a typical day looks like:

  • Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in the design of method of failure analysis, testing, and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
  • Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with the development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices required to test, telemeter, and record test data.
  • Directs and coordinates the strategies of debugging the failure product of the test process.
  • Analyzes and interprets Failures data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.
  • Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software.
  • Trains and instructs floor support, debug technicians, and test operators on test hardware and/or software, failures solutions as well as proper problemsolving techniques.
  • Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing, and coordinating corrective action measures, and monitoring improvements.
  • Analyze circuits and topologies to identify marginal issues or compatibility issues between components.
  • Yield trend and Pareto analysis to identify epidemic failures that required deeper analysis.
  • Provide technical documentation and tools for diagnostic purposes.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience Mid or Sr in a similar position.
  • English advanced.
  • Experience with measuring and diagnostic instruments.
  • Experience working in the electronics and telecommunications industry.
  • Availability to travel.
