Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Lean/CI Manufacturing Operations, the Lean/CI Business Partner oversees Lean and Continuous Improvement in an assigned plant, focusing on operational models, performance metrics, and productivity targets. Collaborating closely with Manufacturing Operations leadership, this role shares responsibility for the plant's productivity objectives and plays a crucial part in fostering a culture of continuous improvement. While initially concentrating on plant-specific enhancements such as labor productivity, material usage, and financial performance optimization, the position drives significant efficiency improvements through various strategies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a lean/continuous improvement strategy to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Implementing plans centered on key Lean areas such as Hoshin Planning, Lean Training, and Root Cause Problem Solving.
  • Identifying opportunities for enhancement and establishing measurable targets for various operational aspects.
  • Establishing and implementing best practices in Lean methodologies.
  • Applying Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile thinking to align with Manufacturing Operations objectives.
  • Building relationships across the organization and acting as a catalyst for change.
  • Mentoring leaders in embracing lean principles.
  • Promoting a culture of ongoing improvement to ensure manufacturing capabilities remain competitive.
  • Contributing to digital initiatives that integrate business and technology for added value.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and lean engineering.
  • Advanced level of English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading improvement projects in global manufacturing settings.
  • Significant experience in Lean methodologies and team leadership.
  • Lean Manufacturing certification.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Background in manufacturing technical products, particularly Engineer to order (ETO) & electromechanical items.
  • Proven track record of driving positive change and influencing others at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to transition effectively between strategic and tactical thinking.
