Wood Mexico esta en la búsqueda de un candidato para suplir la posición de Gerente de Departamento Civil. La posición requiere alto conocimiento en el campo estructural, Maestría en Estructuras es deseable. Con amplia experiencia en ingeniería y en construcción. El candidato debe tener adicionalmente conocimiento sólido de Civil (hidráulica, vialidades, etc.) y de Arquitectura, puesto que el Departamento consolida las 3 áreas.

Responsabilidades

  • Garantizar el mantenimiento de la integridad del diseño de la disciplina en todos los ámbitos de trabajo.
  • Trabajar con grupos de proyecto como asesor técnico experto en diseños, procesos y métodos de ingeniería.
  • Trabajar como lider de grupo en proyectos que requieran alto conocimiento técnico en estructuras
  • Determinar las necesidades de investigación y participar en el desarrollo de planes a mediano y largo plazo para el equipo del departamento y objetivos de proyectos.
  • Establecer el alcance del trabajo para el proyecto o propuestas, asignar y dirigir al personal.
  • Desarrollar e implementar procedimientos, métodos y controles a utilizar.
  • Dirigir la programación, el control de costos y la conformidad técnica durante la fase de diseño de los proyectos.
  • Coordinar actividades con clientes internos como otros grupos de trabajo en México y con otras oficinas, y externos como clientes.
  • Impulsar la eliminación de incidentes técnicos a través de controles sólidos, revisiones de incidentes e integración de las lecciones aprendidas en el equipo de diseño de la disciplina.
  • Registrar y difundir as lecciones aprendidas en el equipo de diseño de la disciplina
  • Proporcionar a los proyectos el personal de disciplina adecuado a los ámbitos de alcance de los trabajos y en línea con las políticas y procedimientos de la empresa y dentro de los requisitos del cliente.
  • Gestionar y trabajar dentro de los presupuestos de gastos generales del departamento y gestionar la utilización de los recursos frente a la carga de trabajo.
  • Apoyar a la gerencia de la oficina en la preparación de planes de personal anuales y a corto plazo para identificar el número y la combinación de personal necesarios para satisfacer la demanda prevista.
  • Apoyar y establecer y mejorar continuamente los sistemas y herramientas de diseño requeridos por la disciplina para entregar una ejecución del diseño rentable y competitiva.
  • Planificar y priorizar el trabajo para cumplir los compromisos de la disciplina alineados con los objetivos de la organización. Con la orientación de mirar hacia el futuro para determinar y obtener los recursos necesarios para completar los planes.
  • Apoyar el proceso de desarrollo empresarial para identificar y conseguir nuevos trabajos.
  • Apoyar el refuerzo y la profundización del uso de la división del trabajo.
  • Colaborar con otros jefes de disciplina en la elaboración de propuestas.

Calificaciones

  • Amplia y profunda experiencia en la realización de diseños de ingeniería en uno o más sectores industriales relevantes, principalmente Petroleo y Gas, Cemento, Industrial.
  • Experiencia a nivel de experto y comprensión de las herramientas y procesos de diseño.
  • Amplio conocimiento de los factores que impulsan el negocio de los clientes de sectores industriales relevantes.
  • Excelentes dotes de comunicación escrita y verbal.
  • Capacidad para anticipar y equilibrar las necesidades de múltiples partes interesadas.
  • Capaz de atraer a los mejores talentos para satisfacer las necesidades empresariales actuales y futuras.
  • Experiencia en el desarrollo del talento mediante coaching, mentoring y procesos formales de desempeño.
  • Nivel de ingles intermedio-avanzado.
