Job Description
Key Requirements:
- Engineering (mechanical, mechatronic, electronic, or similar background)
- Ability to adapt to different shifts based on project needs
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
- Proficiency in English
- Preferred understanding of SCRUM/Agile Methodology
Responsibilities:
- Execute Electric Drive Unit Engineering tasks for the BET/BEV3 program
- Follow established processes for program execution
- Participate in Launch meetings
- Support OEM equipment testing at supplier sites
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures
- Manage safety contracts with OEMs
- Review onsite OEM performance regularly
- Coordinate equipment installation and review progress with OEMs and contractors
- Assist in forecasting spending
- Complete equipment installation and testing on the plant floor
- Conduct equipment validation and PPAP with the Launch team
- Lead PPAP review meetings and share feedback for process improvements
- Meet Launch Deliverables expectations
- Resolve ME open issues for Launch Deliverables
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements
- Document lessons learned for process enhancements
- Approve OEM support hours
- Communicate effectively within the organization to solve business challenges
