This role is in the NAMER Service Procurement Organization, supporting Purchasing activities for business areas across the region. It's part of a team of buyers within a regional procurement team. Responsibilities include obtaining pricing for proposals, purchase orders, order confirmations, and other related tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Procure resources for projects
  • Manage multiple tasks for various customers
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and stay composed under pressure
  • Utilize Oracle and Microsoft applications
  • Understand procurement processes, including vendor selection and order placement
  • Familiarity with bill of materials
  • Conduct offer evaluations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business preferred; relevant experience considered
  • Preferably knowledgeable about Mining equipment
  • 2 to 4 years of previous buying experience preferred
  • Proficient in Advanced English
  • Skilled in data handling, spreadsheets, and analysis
  • Experience with international suppliers is advantageous
