El Gerente de Contratos es un miembro clave del equipo administrativo de Ware Malcomb y es responsable de coordinar y revisar los documentos contractuales y coordinar con clientes externos y asesores legales, así como con el personal interno de contabilidad, CFO y equipos de Gestión de proyectos para proporcionar un alto nível de servicio al cliente y garantizar el cumplimiento de las políticas de gestión de riesgos establecidas por Ware Malcomb.


  • The Contracts Manager is a key member of the Ware Malcomb administrative team and is responsible for coordinating and reviewing contractual documents and coordinating with external clients and legal counsel as well as internal accounting staff, CFO and Project teams to provide a high level of client service and ensure compliance with Ware Malcomb's established risk management policies._

Responsabilidades:

  • Coordinar las negociaciones contractuales con clientes y consultores, proporcionando un alto nível de servicio al cliente con el objetivo de alcanzar términos contractuales mutuamente aceptables
  • Revisar y redactar acuerdos de servicios profesionales e identificar posibles problemas, logrando un plazo de 48 horas para la revisión de contratos.
  • Trabajar con un asesor legal externo para revisar y redactar los acuerdos de formulario del cliente
  • Identificar cuestiones y problemas contractuales y sugerir medidas apropiadas para garantizar una resolución satisfactoria
  • Participar como miembro del equipo negociador para establecer los términos y condiciones de los contratos y sugerir cláusulas alternativas al cliente para su consideración
  • Supervisar los estados de los contratos y trabajar con los equipos de proyecto y los clientes para obtener los acuerdos ejecutados
  • Revisar y coordinar la firma de acuerdos de confidencialidad y formularios de consentimiento/asignación
  • Supervisar la renovación y el archivo de todos los Certificados de Seguro activos, manteniendo el cumplimiento de los contratos existentes
  • Coordinar con el bróker de seguros la resolución de problemas de cobertura
  • Coordinar con el equipo legal para emitir cartas de demanda, presentar gravámenes y tomar otras medidas de cobro en cuentas vencidas.
  • Desarrollar y llevar a cabo capacitación para los equipos de proyecto con el fin de lograr prácticas y procedimientos consistentes en todas las organizaciones.
  • Participar en la planificación estratégica, liderando mejoras en el grupo de Contratos, identificar necesidades de recursos y brindar oportunidades de crecimiento al personal actual

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate contract negotiations with clients & consultants, providing a high level of client service with the goal of reaching mutually agreeable contract terms
  • Review & redline professional services agreements & identify potential issues, achieving a 48hour turnaround time for contract review
  • Work with outside legal counsel to review & redline clientform agreements
  • Identify contractual issues and problems and suggest appropriate action to ensure satisfactory resolution
  • Participate as a member of the negotiating team to establish terms and conditions for the contracts and suggest alternative clauses to the client for consideration
  • Monitor contract statuses and work with Project Teams & clients to obtain executed agreements
  • Review & coordinate signature of NDA and consent/assignment forms
  • Oversee the renewal & filing of all active Certificates of Insurance, maintaining compliance with existing contracts
  • Coordinate with insurance broker to resolve coverage issues
  • Coordinate with legal team to issue demand letters, file liens and take other collections actions on past due accounts.
  • Develop & conduct training for Project Teams in order to achieve consistent practices and procedures across all Organizations
  • Participate in strategic planning, leading improvements in the Contracts group, identify resource needs and provide growth opportunities to current staff

  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y servicio al cliente, escritas y verbales, son esenciales
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación oral y escrita, incluyendo la familiaridad con la terminología legal común
  • Habilidades de organización excepcionales y gran automotivación con gran atención al detalle.
  • La capacidad de priorizar y gestionar de forma independiente múltiples tareas cumpliendo satisfactoriamente los plazos y los resultados deseados.
  • Fuertes aptitudes interpersonales, capacidad para trabajar con individuos en todos los níveles de la organización de forma positiva, colaborativa, orientada a soluciones.
  • Dominio de las aplicaciones de Microsoft Office; experiência con el software Deltek Vantagepoi
