Job Description:

  • Provides assistance in analyzing and solving complex manufacturing problems
  • Coaches, trains, develops and evaluates employees
  • Assists in obtaining resources to effectively perform operations/projects
  • Collaborate with outside teams and functions
  • Administers divisional and Corporate policies
  • Meets cost, schedule and quality requirements
  • Maintain Corporate and unit management control systems, budget and other information necessary to monitor performance and maintain safety culture
  • Establish recommendations to accomplish completion of projects
  • Work involves a considerable amount of initiative in decisionmaking accompanied by a high level of independent discernment
  • Assist in the implementation and coordination of manufacturing objectives.

Additional Job Description:

  • Knowledge:
Manufacturing Processes (GPS Machining and Assembly Process).

GMS (Global Manufacturing System). Knowledge of Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS), quality control procedures, manufacturing processes, and management systems.

GPDP (Global Powertrain Development Process).

Lead Cost Council Initiatives, Development of budgets and budget execution and control.

Create a highly engaged team.

Maintain safety culture through audits, observations and incident investigation

Employee development including mentoring, training and evaluation of employees

Champion of allocated Business Plan Deployment (BPD) activities

  • Execute CIP workshops in the areas of Quality, Cost, Responsiveness
Wide level of knowledge of the assembly processes of the product, personnel management.

Knowledge about the policies and procedures of the organization.

Fluent English

Ability to lead problem solving activities and leverage analytical abilities.

Leadership/Management Experience

High level of oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with others

Ability to plan and execute

Issue and Conflict Resolution

Skills oral and written communication.

Interpersonal relationships to work effectively with others motivate employees and achieve results.

  • Experience/Education:
Bachelor Degree Engineering (Mechanics, Electronics, Industrial or equivalent)

Master's degree (Desirable systems design or manufacture of products or Administration or equivalent)

Knowledge of continuous improvement processes (CIP)

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint)

On Site:
This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis
