Paid Digital Marketing, Community manager and Business Development internship in Sevilla, Spain Company description:

Our collaborator is a lounge club in Sevilla with a wide range of events and cool parties by the river side during the spring and summer afternoons and nights.

They are looking for a highly passionate in new technologies student to perform a digital marketing internship to promote their lounge club on Internet, Social Media and new media channels.

This internship also involves business development and event management.

Main tasks:

  • Positioning the company in the tourism circuit of the city , contacting hotels and boosting the presence of foreign customers in the lounge club.
  • Web content management: blog web presence, TripAdvisor , Instagram , Google places, Google +,...
  • Social Media Strategy: development and implementation. Development in coordination with Marketing & Media content.
  • Management of the frequency, content, day to day activity of the portals.
  • Monitoring and analysis to measure the impact of social media programs.
  • Budget Control and ROI of Social Media Investments.
  • Optimization of campaigns to increase Brand Awareness.
  • Planning and monitoring the ecommerce budget .
  • Constantly reviewing the updates in the new technologies to keep the company in the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
  • Lead the digitalization process of the company.
  • Event management.

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Fluent in English.
  • The knowledge of French or other languages would be a plus.

Requirements :

  • Solid knowledge of current concepts of Online Marketing Strategies and Best Practices.
  • Upper management of IT tools.
  • Dynamic, proactive person, resultsoriented.
  • Ability to adapt in a multitasking environment, analytic, organized and autonomous.

Working hours :

  • Working primarily from the office
  • Visits to hotels and businesses in the area ( Monday to Thursday)
  • Presence in property (1/max 2 night shifts a week) (Thursday, Friday or Saturday)

Duration of the internship:
From April-May to September.

Getting your NIE?Getting your registration documents for Salamanca done is an important task Here is what you need to do: Getting NIE inSalamancafor European citizens: The main office inSalamancayou need to visit, in order to get your NIE is located on C/ Jardines S/N, their open hours are usually between 09:00- 14:00 from Monday to Friday.

However, if you are living outside the city ofSalamanca you can also visit other offices the full list you can findhere .

The most important step to take is tobook your appointment(cita previa) beforehand, to do so you can use the followinglink or call.

After opening the link in the drop-down menu choose Salamancaand then click onCertificados EU.

A new window will pop up, where you need to fill in your personal information, right after that the system will show you the available dates and times for an appointment.

Due to the high demand for appointments is also possible that you receive the following message:

Meaning that at this moment there are no available appointments.

In such a case what we recommend is to visit the same website at08:00 am on Monday morningwhen new appointments become available.

However, if you need your NIE urgently or you are not able to book your appointment at all, you can also visit the office directly (we recommend that you go therearound 06:30 in the morning, in order to get your number for appointment and wait if they will be able to proceed your application.

Getting NIE inSalamanca for non-European citizens: If you are a non- European citizen, but you will be doing apaid internshipin Spain it is alsomandatorythat you get your NIE number.

To do so you have todirectly visitthe Foreign Affairs department (Oficina de extranjeros) as soon as you arrive in Spain or to apply from your home country in the responsible Spanish embassy.

Getting a bank account?Before making your bank account in Salamanca make sure to investigate the location you will be living and pick a bank office nearby Here is what you need to do:

Thebank office where you have made your bank account will also be the place that you need to visit in case of issues, questions, credit/ debit card picking or even account cancellation, so make sure that you choose an office that is easily accessible for you.

Please note that some banks may even ask you to create an entirely new bank account if you what to change the office where your current account is located into
