As part of the newest Operation Plant and Staff member team, you will support a completely new operation in Juarez, product transfers and in supporting developing and supporting the introducing corporate quality system of our medical devices within our product range.

In the job as Supplier Quality Engineer, you will have the chance to impact product development and your own daily tasks and responsibilities.

You will experience a very varied working day in a dynamic organization. You will work closely with your colleagues, particularly colleagues in Juarez, Denmark and Asia and in the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing our manufacturing specifications to identify materials needed for production.
  • Researching, sourcing, and assessing the best vendors to supply the necessary materials.
  • Visiting vendor facilities and observing the manufacturing environment to review and assess their procedures.
  • Performing regular quality control audits to ensure vendors continue to work in compliance with company standards.
  • Reviewing incoming supplies and products from vendors to check for defects and ensure quality.
  • Support validation strategies for new vendors.
  • Create and develop Supplier Quality Agreements with suppliers.
  • Conducting tests and assessments on products to identify quality issues.
  • Maintaining detailed reports on supplier quality, including defect rates and areas that result in flaws.
  • Providing technical advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates.
  • Serving as a liaison between our company's management and the vendors to identify quality issues and come up with solutions.
  • Ensure that nonconforming products have a disposition.
  • Maintain the corrective and preventive system as well as the Nonconformance system.
  • Evaluate KPI's, audits, processes, nonconformities, and other areas to determine if CAPA's are needed.

This is a manufacturing facility and as a result, employees have the potential to be exposed to noise, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, machinery, vibration or other workplace hazards controlled within compliance of current safety and health standards.


To succeed in the job, you will need to have as a must the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience working in Quality
  • Experience on medical device industry
  • Experience working in manufacturing preferred
  • Experience performing audits
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English
