As a Test Engineer at Apptegy you will:

  • Understand stand the user experience and what matters most to them
  • Design and implement API tests that hit real services in a real environment
  • Design full E2E tests that simulate users and enable regression testing
  • Implement the frontend tests in Selenium Web Driver
  • Develop a process for reporting, metrics and dashboarding for all test runs
  • Work closely with developers to build out a holistic testing framework
  • Take the lead on all things testy, both automated and manual

Experience you should already have:

  • 5+ years of automation testing experience
  • Top communication skills for both a technical and nontechnical audience
  • Demonstrable experience with Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, Chai or any other testing framework
  • Fundamental understanding of what makes good tests both from a TDD and BDD perspective
  • Also wants to do regular software development (we want that too)

Experience that would be nice to have:

  • Demonstrable experience with Appium or any other mobile testing framework
  • Experience of frontend web and/or back enddevelopment
