We're looking for a Trade Finance Sales Associate to provide support to Trade Sales Officers in executing transactions for new business and Wholesale Banking clients.

This includes credit approval process and discussions with related divisions such as credit departments, Transaction Banking Division, Tokyo, legal, etc.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare pitch books and other marketing materials.
  • Work with Relationship Management offices and coordinate the approval process.
  • Ensure transactions adhere to the Bank's compliance, risk, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Assist in the negotiation of legal documentation.
  • Monitor existing portfolio for attrition and opportunities to increase utilization of existing facilities.
  • Execute documentation and booking of transactions.
  • Help identify prospects that align with the strategy of Trade Finance.
  • 2 to 3 years' experience in trade finance
  • Excellent knowledge of the Standby Letter of Credit product, Export Letter of Credit, UCP 600, Import Financing and Bills of Exchange
  • Knowledge of existing trade finance products
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent analytical and written communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, Master's in Business is preferred
