Job location:
Quebec, Canada.

Salary:
adjustable according to experience.

Requirements:

  • Being a Mexican citizen.
  • Degree in aerospace engineering.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English and/or French.
  • No criminal record.
  • Having at least 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience with Patran/Nastran, Nasgro, CATIA V5.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure design solutions meet stress performance specifications, applicable airworthiness regulations, and industry best practice.
  • Review dispositions of production support engineering and substantiate repairs to demonstrate required stress performance, and compliance with applicable airworthiness regulations.
  • Execute intermediate to complex Stress engineering assignments requiring familiarity with several fields of engineering.
  • Identify and report on defects and deficiencies in work done by others.
  • Perform various stress analyses and have good knowledge of static strength, fatigue, damage tolerance and finite element model (FEM) analysis for composite and/or metallic structures.
  • Support concept generation and structural optimization by guiding engineers as they model the structure.
