The team:
You will be joining and supporting the LATAM & Canada Corporate Controller's group, oversee business's day-to-day financial operations of the Mexican entities in all related aspects, financial reporting, tax compliance, closing books and local regulatory compliance duties.
The impact:
This person will play a key role in achieving the Company's goal of assuring the integrity, completeness, appropriateness of its external financial statements in accordance with the applicable tax regulations and accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
Preserve and adequate the applicable tax and legal framework.
Oversee tax compliance and coordinate efforts with internal and external teams for income tax, indirect and withholding taxes.
Oversee and manage tax authorities audits.
Oversee with partnered corporate divisions for reporting and compliance in all of aspects related to transfer pricing, treasury, human resources and legal.
Work with external auditors for the review and audit of Mexican entities financial statements and disclosures.
Attend legal requirements from government entities as legal representative of the Mexican entities.
Assess and review financial reporting controls.
Provide operational support to corporate initiatives and the Corporate Controller's function.
What We're Looking For:
7+ years of relevant work experience
Bachelor's Degree, CPA, Finance
Strong knowledge in taxes, accounting standards and local legal requirements
Strong communication and analytical skills including the ability to collaborate at various levels across the company.
Experience working with global teams.
Skills in Excel, Smart View and Oracle
