Role Overview:

Subsea 7 has an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Specialist within the global Contracts Team based in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.

The role has a particular focus on providing efficient interpretation of Contractual documentation and the implementation of contractual and commercial strategies in support of project operations in accordance with relevant Company procedures and policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contractual knowledge to identify potential changes during the life of the project.
• Analyze and prepare variation order requests
• Compile all backup for variation orders to submit to enable prompt submission to the client
• Maintain and update variation order registers for each project
• Maintain organized documents for all variation orders in the relevant project folders
• Active communication with SCM and CC to get an accurate cost for variation order
• Maintain and adhere to all relevant contractrelated process in the Company's Business Management System (BMS)
• Active participation in Company's relevant compliance programs

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Educated to degree level
• Experience working in Business/contract
• Relevant previous experience at an appropriate level in the subsea or offshore environment
• Cost and contractual knowledge
• Strong Excel knowledge
• Good communication (oral and writing) skills
• Fluent in English

• Must have good interpersonal and good communication skills with an ability to liaise across several departments and various personnel
