The
Education Consultant plays a critical role in achieving this objective. They work closely with customers to help them build product knowledge, increase user adoption and achieve ROI. They do this by designing and delivering high-quality, process-based tailored training that promotes NetSuite standard processes.

This Education Consultant role will focus primarily on customers who are currently implementing NetSuite but may also deliver training to Partners and our existing customers.


The
Education Consultant works in a high-energy and dynamic environment, delivering training to multiple customers in a variety of industries.

This position is responsible for the delivery of instructor-led onsite and virtual end-user training.


The
Education Consultant works in partnership with the implementation team to assess customer training needs, develop custom curriculum and materials (written and elearning tutorials), and deliver quality training to ensure optimal user adoption.

Education Consultants may deliver additional services such as Train the Trainer, Pre-UAT Training and Post Go Live Support Training.


All
Education Consultants will learn the fundamentals to work with our customers to train them on our solutions that are specific to multiple industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver customerspecific End User Training including pregolive, Train the Trainer, preUAT and golive support training based on the implementation project scope for a customer.
  • Advise customers how to make best use of their learning subscription and develop a strategy (Learning Action Plan) to combine eLearning with live training to maximize end user adoption.
  • Recommend best practices from a user adoption, training, and business management perspective.
  • Learn and deliver training for Mexico and Colombia localizations of NetSuite and provide training and advising to support customers throughout Latin America and US/Canada.
  • Take full ownership of multiple concurrent customer training projects. Interact with customers as needed for logistics, knowledge transfer and followup
  • Deliver live instructorled training sessions onsite at customer locations and in a virtual, interactive online environment.
  • Deliver webinars and webinar series to a broad customer base.
  • Participate in customer training requirements definition and training scoping conversations.
  • Participate in the development of new offerings and improvement to processes, providing feedback and suggestions to education program management.
  • Keep up to date on current and new product rollouts to ensure functional and technical knowledge, as well as training and presentation skills are continuously upgraded.
  • Incorporate learning industry best practices and techniques in daily engagements. Adhere to Education Services Delivery methods, processes, procedures, and policies in the development and delivery of education services.

Qualifications/Skills:

Minimum 2 years in the technology industry:

-
1+ years of experience in a functional training or consultative role with emphasis on technology and business process training development, design, and delivery:

-
Strong presentation, training and group facilitation skills; familiar and competent with audience-engagement methods and techniques appropriate for all types of audiences:

-
Understanding of common industry standards as related to ERP along with standard business practices as related to Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets), Inventory Management (Purchasing, Fulfillment, Warehouse Management) and/or Software/Services management functions (Revenue Recognition, Project Management, CRM)
