Nearly 30 years ago, we defined the product market for general contractor project management.It was a product that users loved, and therefore became the bar to measure all others against for nearly two decades.

Today, we are again defining the market with our recently launched SaaS product, ProjectSight. We are holding to our roots, with a heavy focus on UX, giving our users a product they love. We are enabling friction-free collaboration for all construction project stakeholders in a way that the industry has never seen. And we're just getting started.We are currently recruiting for a Software Engineering Manager.
In this role you will be responsible for software development activities for product delivery and \ or customs development teams using sound software engineering principles and established agile methodologies.
What You Will Do
- Manage teams with inhouse and outsourced software engineers and software QA engineers working on product features and customs development.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Develop and communicate effectively with customers, professional services, product management, product marketing, customer success, customer support, and other engineering team members regarding all work activities.
- Regularly and proactively communicate status, risks, and other issues related to current work under development.
- All other duties as assigned.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
- Working experience as a Development Manager or similar role will be considered in place of a degree.
- 5+ years of Software Development experience; 2+ years of experience in building and leading strong engineering teams
- Deep handson technical expertise in mobile and webtechnologies
- Experience managing software teams with short release cycles (weekly releases).
- Experience working and/or supporting B2B SaaS products.
- Experience hiring and building teams with internal resources and outsourcing firms.
- Experience with Microsoft.
- Experience with general purpose programming languages like C#, VB.NET, Java or JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience with Xamarin Forms and Xamarin Native is a plus.
- Experience managing or participating in custom development efforts and tracking revenue recognition is a plus.
- Experience with agile development practices like TDD, BDD, pair programming and continuous integration.
- Experience using tools like Salesforce, JIRA and Confluence.
- Ability to guide the development teams toward CI / CD.
