  • Reporting to the General Manager, Director, Operations Engineering role involves_
- responsible to direct and control the activities of a broad functional area through several engineering leaders involved in activities related to test & product engineering, additionally, responsible to organize and lead Project/Program reviews to ensure projects are delivered on time, as per timeline targets base on ramp up building projection._

What a typical day looks like:

  • _ Direct and control the activities of a broad functional area through several senior Manufacture engineering leaders involved in activities related to process engineering capabilities and statistical process control systems._
- _ Regularly interact with executives and/or major customers in controversial situations, contract negotiations or other matters for which influence skills are required._
- _ Regularly interact with stakeholders in controversial situations, contract negotiations or other matters for which influence skills are required._
- _ Ability to Plan, budget, and manage cost align with Site and Corporate objectives._
- _ Build a strong leadership team in all sub
  • Engineering functions reporting under Director.
_
- _ Collaborate with all functional leaders to ensure all Engineering functions are at the best optimize conditions to delivery products with the highest quality, lowest cost, and timely delivery._
- _ Develop, modify, and implement company policies that affect immediate operation(s) and may also have company-wide effect._

  • _ Direct and control the activities of a broad functional area through several senior Manufacture engineering leaders involved in activities related to process engineering capabilities and statistical process control systems._
- _ Establishes operating equipment specifications and acts as a liaison with product design and development to ensure processes and designs are compatible._
- _ Hand on person and good understanding of all engineering KPIs i.e., FMEA, OEE, MTBF, etc._
- _ Improve and upgrade Engineering capability to stay abreast with the latest manufacturing and automation technology._
- _ Involve in Site technology roadmap formulation. _E.g., Automation, IIOT, Digitalization, etc._
- _ Leads efforts to achieve cost effectiveness and improved product quality. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function._
- _ Organize and lead Project/Program reviews to ensure projects are delivered on time, as per cost targets and within quality specifications._
- _ Partner with other functional leaders to ensure _manufacture-engineering_ activities are well integrated with manufacturing operations._
- _ Process good communication and interpersonal skills with Customers, Flex Team, and subordinates._
- _ Proficient in cost management, talent development and departmental KPIs._
- _ Provide guidance and feedback to subordinate leaders to ensure achievement of goals and objectives._

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • _ Experience managing operations & engineering in electronic manufacturing_
- _ Strong background in engineering positions, strong experience in test/failure engineering positions_
- _ BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience_
- _ Fluent English_
- _ Experience managing and achieving KPIs in Engineering functions which includes Manufacturing Processes, Product, Equipment, Assembly and Tests, Failure Analysis, Automation, etc._
- _ Experience managing engineering areas (Process, Product, Equipment, Tests, Failure Analysis, Automation, Industrial, etc.) line personnel, technicians, supervisors._
- _ Experience in NPI, New Product launch, automation, and process management._
- _ Good experience on SMT, Assembly & Test, Backend Processes, Testing and Equipment Engineering._
- _ Good leadership and organization skill in dynamics environment to achieve operation efficiency and profitability._
- _ Knowledge on Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma to improve quality and cost is also a Plus_
