Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for EV components, focusing on efficiency, quality, and reliability.
- Utilize processing libraries, including TIM/RTV Dispensing, screw fastening, lubrication, epoxy/resin potting, and soldering to achieve desired outcomes.
- Define and implement process control strategies to meet CTQ requirements and ensure consistent product quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations and failures.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement process improvements, including automation and tooling enhancements.
- Perform process capability studies and develop statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor and improve process performance.
- Design and execute DOEs to optimize process parameters and identify key process variables.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process specifications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in EV component manufacturing processes, with expertise in TIM/RTV dispensing, screw fastening, lubrication, epoxy/resin potting, and soldering for electronics.
- Strong understanding of CTQ principles and experience implementing CTQdriven processes.
- Proficiency in DOE methodology and statistical analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with process control tools and methodologies, including SPC and control plans.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex process issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within crossfunctional teams.
- Detailoriented with a focus on datadriven decisionmaking.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience with CAD software for process design and optimization.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to EV component manufacturing.
- Prior experience in automotive or electronics manufacturing.
