Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, Large Language Models), artificial intelligence, deep learning, or natural language processing. 5 years of experience in a technical role (e.g., software engineering, solutions consultant, etc.) or equivalent technical experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in an external facing role or equivalent experience through community or open source contributions.
  • Experience with testing, designing, and influencing software launches.
  • Experience coding in Go/Golang.
  • Ability to take ownership of solutions and exert influence without authority.

  • As a Developer Relations Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between external developers and Google's internal teams. You will represent the developer community, advocating for their needs and ensuring their success with our Go AI agent technology.
The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google.

We look across Google's products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems.

As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to manage product engagement and identify user needs.
  • Attend or facilitate conferences and events to gain and share insights on user experience and technologies.
  • Contribute input and feedback on products or programs, and represent the interests of partners to internal stakeholders.
  • Explore, gather, generate, and validate AI agent integrations and agent based workflows.
  • Represent Google at industry events and promote generative AI technologies.
