Ecolab is looking for a
Production Lead to join our Supply Chain team.

In this position you will support the production supervisor by coordinating the activities of manufacturing associates in one or more production areas.

You will also monitor daily plant activities to ensure time and quality commitments are met.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with all Ecolab policies as well as regulatory agencies. Ensure the safety of all employees in the operation of equipment through proper training, enforcement of safety rules, and following proper procedures
  • Recommend and implement measures to improve departmental productivity and efficiencies, product quality, methods and working conditions so that downtime is minimized through the use of teamwork and continuous improvement principles
  • Ensure constant communication with all levels of management in the areas of safety, processing, production, maintenance, and environmental issues. Analyze and assist in resolving problems
  • Mix and package a quality product through the use of proper procedures and adherence to all job packets and quality standards in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Department
  • Clean and maintain production areas, tools and machinery in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures, 5S Standards and Job Safety Analysis
  • Perform the tasks of workers in the group to maintain production schedule when needed
  • Performs inprocess reviews and product signoffs
  • Keep supervisor informed of inventory and pack supply levels
  • Key production and close production jobs
  • Assist in tracking performance by making entries into the required databases
  • Review production schedules, assign team members to lines and / or tasks
  • Make adjustments in schedules using knowledge of machine capacities and equipment, and worker capabilities.
  • Promote and maintain teamwork among employees through regularly scheduled GO meetings and daily leadership practices.
  • Plan and initiate training of employees to expand job knowledge and add flexibility to scheduling the workforce
  • Ensure proper, accurate, and timely reporting of all daily requirements
  • Work as a team with other production leads, supervisors and managers to achieve goals

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of plant and process experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Immigration sponsorship not provided for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ecolab systems knowledge and problem solving skills
  • Basic Computer skills and ability to learn CAS/ECO, Microsoft
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
