Amazon Mexico currently seeks an innovative, hands-on, bias for action, analytical and results-oriented Senior Manager to lead the FBA Operational Excellence team in Mexico.

Fulfiment by Amazon (FBA) offers logistic services to third-party selling partners on our marketplace, in Mexico and beyond.

We ship products on behalf of our partners, and handle the supply chain when our customers need to return the product they bought.

Processes are either existing or to be built.


The FBA Ops Excellence team is in charge of solving operational defects, both reactively (fast and efficiently), and proactively (changing processes at root).

The Manager manages directly senior process managers as well as team leaders of investigation associates, based in various locations. The team is a 15-20 people size.

The manager must be able to work independently, understand rapidly the key pain points of the processes, and influence internal/external partners at all levels of the organization.

This role will particularly suits someone with strong process and Lean / Six Sigma background, relationship building skills and superb team management capabilities.

Key job responsibilities

Your team is composed of junior teams based in fulfilment centers, in headquarters, and offshore, all three solving our daily sellers operational problems, in a standardized way.

The goal is to have a fast, qualitative, efficient and consistent answer to solve issues. Some are also performing seller education, contacting our top offenders to provide proactive advices.


On top, some more senior project managers reporting into you are able to focus proactively on some key process changes, and to implement them with Operations.


Your key responsibilities include:
Identify, prioritize and execute on new opportunities to further accelerate growth of FBA as well as drive process improvements.
Develop in-depth understanding of processes, tools, data, and teams involved in FBA process (domestically and internationally). Identify gaps (or overlaps) and opportunities, and initiate high-impact projects based on analyses.
Set up performance management mechanisms and track potential Sellers with interest to pilot initiatives.
Connect with key stakeholders regularly to review ops / business metrics and setup processes to ensure goals are met.
Operate autonomously; drive forecasts, and handle escalations with wide MX Operations network.

Mexico City, DIF, MEX- Bachelor's degree

  • 4+ years of team management experience
  • 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and nontech teams experience
  • 7+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
  • 7+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level


 English proficiency
  • Advanced (spoken and written)
  • Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Knowledge of SQL
