Operation Adjustment and Programming of CNC in the Machining Plant, making changes of cutting parameters and/or times in the different equipment of the machining lines

Main Responsibilities

  • Review modify and carry out Drawings, Characteristics Matrix, flow chart, control plan, Process FMEA
  • Establish process parameters, such as speeds, feeds, type of tools, gauges, seals, cutting fluids
  • Develop of CNC Programs and Visual Aids, Operation Instructions CPK Studies
  • Review design and perform tests to improve cycle time, make processes and equipment more flexible to maximize their use
  • Define bases and considerations of changes to the process
  • Carry out the activities of the team validation plan for each process and the tools communicate the results
  • Carry out Benchmark with similar Manufacturing systems to detect the most competitive solutions and obtain areas of optimization

Position Requirements

  • Machine tool technician, truncated career of Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer, or Industrial Engineer
  • English (desirable)
  • Experience in Automotive Sector and Autoparts, metalworking companies, parts manufacturing workshops
  • Certified in Statistical control of the process
  • Knowledge in operation of CNC Lathe, Horizontal and Vertical equipment
