Your chance

  • Lead product innovation and development projects in the Cold Forming field.
  • Provide necessary development support for acquisition process and K1-K2K3 activities of programs (CoC Forming).
  • Lead all Tooling and Forming process activities.
  • Lead the tool designs for each tool, approve tool designs and launch the tooling builds.
  • Responsible to deliver tooling to manufacturing with 100% part quality on time.
  • Work directly with Project Managers, Tool Shops and BENTELER Manufacturing.
  • Execute design changes coordinating all Engineering Change Request activity with the Project Manager and Tool Shop.
  • Ensure the working mode according to BENTELER Automotive standards (e. g. ISO TS, Customer specifications and delivery requirements, QA Guidelines, local laws and regulations.)
  • Be responsible for timings and budget according to the BENTELER and customer requirements.
  • Be responsible for identifying best practices.
  • Identify and solve problems in existing processes for improvements or recovery.
  • Develop or identify the correct process or correct process change.
  • Develop contacts with customers as well as strategic partners and maintain these contacts.
  • Promote a respectful work environment.
  • Lead by example and live up to BENTELER's mission, values and global leadership principles.

Your personality

  • Diemaking experience (Preferred to have shopfloor experience)
  • Experience with die design and build
  • Experience in the Automotive Industry
  • Experience in Forming Processes (small, medium and large parts)
  • Experience working with presses ranging from 400T 3200T
  • Project Management skills
  • Problem solving methods
  • English proficiency
  • Ability to work with 3D CAD Models
  • Ability to understand GD&T
  • MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Projects, Powerpoint.
  • SAP ERP
  • Ability to travel outside of Mexico
