Facilities Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and root cause machine downtime.
- Report issues and create work assignments for the staff.
- Review assigned job orders daily and determine work priorities. Makes necessary repairs and adjustments to equipment and completes all assigned maintenance tasks on time and in accordance with company standards.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance to schedule and standard. Make major and minor repairs and schedule equipment for repair. Work with Supervisors to ensure utilization of equipment and rotation schedules.
- Inspect equipment daily or as needed for conformance with operational and safety standards.
- Submit requisitions for tools, equipment, parts, and supplies required to maintain equipment operations.
- Oversee workers and perform human resource and administrative duties, such as hiring, training, and promoting. Motivating employees, resolving disputes, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Create periodic reports, work schedules, employee payroll processing, and budget planning.
- Maintain inventory, such as cleaning supplies, tools, and office supplies.
- Inspect the building to identify maintenance issues, such as clogged drains, leaky ceilings, and faulty electrical switches.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement maintenance activities to ensure the proper functioning of the facility, which include regular inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment, systems, and infrastructure components such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other related systems.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and quality service delivery for repairs, maintenance, and installations.
- Develop and manage the facility-related budget, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and cost-effective maintenance strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws related to facility operations, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments.
- Develop and implement Sustainability projects, Savings projects.
- Experience in "Codigo Red", CFE Programs
- Plan, design, process and supervise the implementation of facility improvement projects.
- Support manufacturing engineer to finish the installation of new equipment and production lines.
- Manage the daily operation and preventive maintenance of facility systems to ensure availability, eliminate unscheduled breakdown.
- Experience in FM Global Annual Audits and Construction projects
- Develop and Coordinate the Environmental Department, Municipal, State and Federal Permits.
- Experience in Water Treatment and Chemical laboratory. Coordinate and supervise the Preventive Maintenance Plan
- Other duties as assigned or necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; or six years related work experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience maintaining conveyance, industrial trucks, automation, and other industrial machinery.
- Basic reading, writing, and math.
- Schematic/Blueprint reading a plus.
- 5 years of experience in a similar position
