The Category is experiencing significant growth in markets around the world and our portfolio focused on 4 key brands.

The employee population is approximately 2,000 people covering in 3 key locations in Jalisco as well as a wide geographic spread of Agricultural zones.


The purpose of the role is to create, embed and sustain a dynamic Talent and Development agenda to support this critical Category.

The agenda will support the five pillars of our People Strategy:
Continuous Learning; Innovative Approach to Talent; Inclusion & Diversity; Speed, Focus and Simplicity and Fulfilling Employee Experiences.

About the Role:

Accountabilities of the role include:

  • Design and lead the talent agenda for the overall Tequila Category
  • Connect the Tequila talent agenda with other business units to acquire and grow talent
  • Ensure that the talent and development agenda is directly in service of the future skills needs of our business.
  • Create clear execution and sponsorship of talent and development initiatives across all areas and level of the Category
  • Using your network across Diageo Global HR to ensure a joined up and collaborate approach to talent and development is taken, ensuring that solutions embrace our global models and priorities
  • Building an innovative diverse talent pipeline to future proof our business
  • Build results which amplify the Supply Chain and Procurement Talent strategy
  • Generate exciting career experiences and paths for people which will accelerate their development
  • Instill a continuous learning culture throughout the category ensuring employees have access to stretching experiences and excellent learning content that fuels constant growth in their capabilities and our business performance
Experience required/Skills/Capabilities/Languages
