Responsibilities:

The Opportunity
The Accounts payable Analyst is part of the Purchase to Pay (P2P) pillar of the NWE Control organization. The P2P team manages the accounts payable administration for PepsiCo entities.

This role is responsible for fast and pro-active issue resolution as well as preventing delays in the P2P process and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Together with the PTP Process owner and the outsourced shared service centre this role is responsible for supporting the accounts payable administration for 100,000+ AP invoices per year.

Your Impact
As a
P2P Analyst your responsibilities would consist of:

Problem Analysis and Root Cause Identification:

• Analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and proposing sustainable solutions for process improvements.

Escalation Resolution:

• Addressing escalations from various functions within the organization.

Support for functions and Shared Service Centers

• Responding to inquiries from internal employees and the outsourced shared service center related to purchase orders, invoice bookings, payments, and outstanding items.

Stakeholder alignment, dashboard management and Reporting:

• Prepare and Facilitate PTP Council / PTP Key user meeting and GFSS Process calls.
• Running, distributing, and enhancing recurring dashboards and weekly/monthly reports.

Risk Mitigation and Proactive Resolution:

• Analyzing reports to identify risks and proactively resolving blocked or aged items.

Audit Preparation and Balance Sheet Analysis and Key control preparation

• Assisting in the preparation of internal and statutory audits.
• Analyzing balance sheet items.

Ad-Hoc Support and Project Assistance:

• Providing support for adhoc questions, projects, and tasks related to vendor master data, VAT, and payments (SCF file preparation).

Qualifications:

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Administration.

Experience

• Experience: 12 years of experience in an accounting department.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Affinity with IT systems and reporting.
• Knowledge of or experience with SAP/Ariba is a plus.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent English (spoken and written) is a must have.
• Analytical Abilities: Intellectual capacity to understand, analyze, and interpret actual results and troubleshoot issues within the PTP process.
• Teamwork & stakeholder management: demonstrates a strong understanding of business urgencies and requirements and the ability to operate in an outsourced environment.
• Work Ethic:
