Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of undergraduate students.
  • Planning, developing and implementation of curriculum, learning materials, assessments, maintaining records of students' attendance, progress and achievements.
  • Participate in building interdisciplinary collaboration within and outside departments and organisation on research and best practices.
  • Provide religious care and support to students and foster selfdirected learning strategies.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned by the college director or Head of Department.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum Degree in Islamic Studies. Preferably Masters or PhD.
  • ARS Certified.
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience at Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) in Islamic Studies.
  • Able to work on weekends.
  • Has zest for continuous learning.
  • Proficient in English, Malay and Arabic language.
  • Knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office especially Words, Excel, Powerpoint.

Salary range:
$2, $4,000.00
