A Market Facing & Client Engagement Data Science manager has the responsibility of leading a team and being a reference for the statistical designs in NIQ, in the application of data strategies and analysis to support the needs and business inquiries from clients, in addition to lead the data science activities for a specific market/industry on new and established products.

This role is Hybrid in our Mexico City office.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and align with other Data Science teamunits to deliver and prioritize objectives
  • Leverage Product Enhancement, Product andTechnology teams to bring to the market services andsolutions.
  • Enable your team to focus on innovation andcontribute to the company's objectives.
  • Worksas data science business leader to partnerleaders in CS, Commercial, PL teams besides clients
  • Support others to understand and applymore complicated technical principles &methodologies, creating clarity and focus forteams to deliver.
  • Identify and adopt new and innovativemethodologies in solving challenging problems.
  • Execute projects effectively and independently to the required expectations, report planning on methodology lines and PoC.
  • Design effective solutions to complex challenges
Qualifications

About You:

Direct contact with Sales / Clients to understand strategic business needs, translate them into analytical strategies and offer innovative solutions driven through cutting-edge methodologies in Data Science.

Requirements:

  • Professionals with degrees inMath, DataScience, Statistics, or related fieldsinvolving statistical analysis of large datasets.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketresearch or relevant field
  • Team management experience-at least 2 years
  • Experienced in high-level programminglanguages (f.e.Python, SQL, Scala), as well aswith data visualization tools (e.g.Power BI,Spotfire, Tableau,MicroStrategy).
  • Domain expert knowledge at least in one areaof the following: programming, statisticalanalysis / machine learning/deep learning, timeseries, sampling
  • High level understanding of Retal Measurement Services
  • Detailedunderstanding of CPG/FMCGIndustry and Retail market impact onclient's business within the market.
