Serving three primary markets - passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment - Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.
Job Purpose:
Generate a culture of continuous improvement in the Company, based on the philosophy of the DPS Production System and Industrial Engineering, in order to improve the quality of the Company's processes and services and thus satisfy the needs of customers, in order to ensure that it complies with internal requirements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Define the strategies for the implementation and monitoring of the DOS production system, based on the client's requirements, so that the program is fulfilled in a timely manner.
Follow up on Continuous Improvement projects (Workshops & Jishuken) related to Lean Manufacturing, by identifying and improving areas of opportunity, in order to make processes and products more efficient and meet customer needs.
Coordinate the "DOS Jr Certification" Program for Salary Employees.
Coordinate the internal meetings of Lean Manufacturing with the personnel involved, in order to follow up on the defined activities, as well as to seek the necessary resources for the achievement of their projects.
Inform the Company's staff about the significant progress in the implementation of DOS so that everyone has the same knowledge and supports its implementation.
Coordinate the logistics of meetings and visits of external consultants in Lean Manufacturing in order for internal staff to be properly trained.
