The Cost Accountant is responsible for overseeing, analyzing, and validating cost expenditures and reduction initiatives within the plant

Review manufacturing process activities:
record and validate data; make recommendations about cost-efficient and financially feasible cost options

Primary Responsibilities:
Standard cost, calculation and analysisInventory control (Annual physical inventory and Cycle counts)

General accountingFixed asset and depreciation controlProfitability analysisCI/process to drive continuous improvement projectsPrepare and complete internal and external auditsExperience on (SAP/ERP) systemPlant performance leading indicators Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience; CPA or MBA preferred3+ years of cost accounting work experience (essential)
