We have an exciting position open in Queretaro: Industrialization Injection Molding Specialist, North Latam , reports to Manager, Industrialization Injection/Molding North Latin America, B+H. This position will be based on Querétaro, México

The main responsibility is Execute projects for new injection molds and related equipment, and for retrofittings and improvements to existing equipment, until qualification and handover to our sites.

This is how your journey begin

Prepare preliminary and final specifications for new injection molds and related equipment, and for retrofittings and improvements to existing equipment; during preliminary stages of the project, for supporting purchasing and afterwards, prior to handover to operations. Participate in the discussion and decisions about suppliers for new injection molds and related equipment, and for retrofittings and improvements to existing equipment. Collaborate in the project scheduling process for new injection molds and related equipment, and for retrofittings and improvements to existing equipment. Manage project review and approval process for new injection molds and related equipment, and for retrofittings and improvements to existing equipment. Manage kick off and follow up meetings during projects for new injection molds and related equipment, and for retrofittings and improvements to existing equipment; in order to ensure equipment development and implementation is on quality, on time and on budget. Run assessments for improvement of existing equipment, including root cause analysis. Run qualification for new molds and related equipment according to scientific molding methodology, and generate all necessary documentation for enabling and handover to our sites. Ensure new and retrofitted equipment being incorporated to the operations is compliant with APTAR methodologies and regulations.

What you will bring on the journey

Education

Technical degree in mechanical, electromechanical or mechatronical technology. Attending university or university degree on Mechanical, Electromechanical or Mechatronical Engineering is desirable.

Experience

5 years in similar positions. Positions in the packaging industry or B2B environments are desirable. Positions in multi-national and multi-cultural companies are desirable. English; intermediate skills.

Skills/Abilities

Strong analytical mindset able to bring precise and robust analysis using several data sources, including conclusions and suggestions for improvement. Understanding and acknowledgement of internal APTAR methodologies. Ability to timely work in several projects at the same time, involving different internal and external customers, product complexities, project stages, sites involved, etc. Ability to work in multi-cultural teams from Latin America region. Good communication skills. Ability to enable and train operational teams. Responsible behavior towards the company assets and know-how
