Summary of role

Responsibilities:

  • Pick up, Follow up, Tracking and final delivery of Cross-Border shipments
  • Accurate and professional follow up with customers
  • Answer and/or proactive information to customers
  • Negotiate rates with vendors (when needed)
  • Enter all related data into system
  • FTL, LTL and Consolidation operational knowledge
  • Support Ground Budget
  • Respond to incoming inquiries timely
  • Achieve assigned targets (KPI's)
  • Productivity of 75 shipments per month
  • Follow up on every shipment within all important stages: pick up, transit stages, bordercrossing, customs clearance and final delivery
  • Input on time related information into Cargo wise system and financial system for each shipment
  • On Time and proactive information with Customer
  • KPI's may be adjusted or updated, however employee will be part of the change
Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, transportation or similar preferred
Experience/Requirement

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Ground and Border Crossing Operations.
Technical Skill

  • Microsoft Office
  • Cargo Wise system preferred
  • English basic spoken and written
