The Role:

The Maintenance Millwright contributes to PepsiCo Beverages Canada by repairing and installing production equipment. This individual inspects equipment for proper functioning, performs preventative maintenance, and diagnoses equipment malfunctions for repairs and adjustments. This position is located at the Delta, BC facility.

This is a full-time position that requires open availability including weekends.

Shifts: Afternoons/Graveyards

Rate of Pay: $48.03/hr

  • Night shift premium of $0.95/hour
  • Afternoon shift premium of $0.80/hour
  • Class 4 Boiler Certificate - $1/hour premium
  • Annual tool allowance of $650
  • Uniform allowance of $230 per year

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment
  • Repair building systems
  • Changeover production line equipment
  • Upgrade areas with new equipment/technology
  • Interact daily with maintenance and parts programs

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Industrial Mechanic Millwright or completion of an Industrial Mechanic Millwright Apprenticeship
  • Class 4 Power Engineer Certificate preferred
  • Experience in machine and safety control systems
  • Environmental awareness
  • Experience in Bottle and Can Line maintenance is an asset
  • Proficiency with machine shop tools and welders
  • Ability to read layout drawings and manuals
  • Physical capabilities for manual labor
  • Willingness to work shifts and overtime
